TOPEKA, Kan., Sept. 25, 2006 – The National Federation of Independent Business/Kansas, the state’s leading small-business advocacy organization, today announced is endorsement of 47 candidates seeking election to the Kansas House of Representatives. Each of the candidates listed below earned NFIB’s endorsement because of their strong support of small business and the public policy issues that impact small businesses. Incumbents running for reelection must have at least a 70 percent voting record on issues important to small-business owners to be considered for the NFIB endorsement. NFIB endorsements come from the NFIB/Kansas SAFE (Save America’s Free Enterprise) Trust, the political action committee for NFIB/Kansas’ membership.
